Rustic Blackened Beeswax Ornaments

$12.00

Beeswax ornaments were originally made in Germany and were poured into stoneware molds. This art of molding or “carving” beeswax into ornaments dates back to the 16th century. This custom was then
brought to America by German Settlers who would cast their ornaments in wooden Springerle cookie molds.

Much like the original German beeswax ornaments these ornaments have been hand casted into stoneware molds using beeswax which has been dyed black and then expertly finished in a cinnamon rub, by Colleen.
These ornaments are a perfect addition to your Holiday décor. They also make wonderful gifts as well!

Made out of hand casted blackened beeswax and finished with a cinnamon rub. When stored correctly these ornaments will last for years! Some of Colleen’s original beeswax casts have lasted for well
over 20 years and still look as good as they did the day they came out of the mold.

Proper storage of these ornaments include: Storing the ornament in a plastic Ziploc bag and then
placing said Ziploc bag into the organza bag that the ornament arrived in.
