Large English Trade Fire Steel

Patterned after a late Viking style, this type of striker was used in the eastern regions of the new world during the Early Fur Trade and was latter used during the Western Fur Trade.

Made out of 3/16 inch by 1/2 inch high carbon steel and hardened to throw good hot sparks with every strike. Measures about 4 inches long and around 1 1/4 inches wide.
