This is our 19th Century Style Battalion Coffee Pot a bit bigger than our regular 19th Century coffee pot. Made of tin and holds 20 cups or 5 quarts (160 ounces). It has a removable lid, a wire bale for carrying, a spout for pouring and a handle lower on the backside to help with pouring a full pot. It measures 9 1/2 inches in height, a 6 1/2 inch top diameter and a 10 3/4 inch bottom diameter. Missouri made.

Our Tin Ware is 100% American made out of lead free materials to ensure safety and durability, most of it is made right here in Our fine state of Missouri. Every item is made to be used whether at home or in camp, and made to give you years of service.

A few things to remember about using tin ware for cooking:

If used over a fire do not put the spout in the flames. It's best to use a grate and keep the coffee pot on the edge of the heat.

DO NOT LET THE COFFEE POT BOIL DRY! You and it will be much happier if you keep liquid in it while using.

Hand Wash and dry the Coffee pot. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER

If you decide to store your coffee pot for a bit, give it a light rub with food grade mineral oil on a cloth. Your teapot will last for many years of service if taken care of properly. Your coffee pot will naturally get a darkened patina with use.

Keep in mind tin items are tin plated steel. They will develop a patina and get a bit of rust or oxidation especially along seams. Just clean with a soft cloth and some non-scratch soft cleanser.
