18th Century Coffee Pot - Made in the USA

$50.00
sold out

This is a lovely handmade 18th Century style coffee pot. Featuring a removable lid and a handle for pouring. Holds 48 ounces of liquid. Made of tin in the USA.

Our Tin Ware is 100% American made out of lead free materials to ensure safety and durability made right here in Our fine state of Missouri in Colleen's Tin Shop. Every item is made to be used whether at home or in camp, and made to give you years of service.

A few things to remember about using tin ware for cooking:

If used over a fire do not put the spout in the flames. It's best to use a grate and keep the coffee pot on the edge of the heat.

DO NOT LET THE COFFEE POT BOIL DRY! You and it will be much happier if you keep liquid in it while using.

Do NOT let water sit in your coffee pot! When finished using pour out remaining liquid and towel dry.

Hand Wash and dry the Coffee pot. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER

If you decide to store your coffee pot for a bit, give it a light rub with food grade mineral oil on a cloth. Your teapot will last for many years of service if taken care of properly. Your coffee pot will naturally get a darkened patina with use.

Keep in mind tin items are tin plated steel. They will develop a patina and get a bit of rust or oxidation especially along seams. Just clean with a soft cloth and some non-scratch soft cleanser.
